Prior to forming Berokim & Duel, PC, Jasmine Duel worked for a leading plaintiff’s employment law firm in Los Angeles. Jasmine Duel’s primary expertise is in employment law. She understands both the emotional and financial implications of employment claims, and understands that employment claims are personal and sensitive. Such claims often arise throughout the course of an employee’s dedicated and loyal service to an employer who ultimately abuses its power and illegally discriminates or retaliates against the employee, leaving the employee helpless. Ms. Duel has made it her mission to effectively represent such aggrieved employees.

Ms. Duel also has a solid background in commercial and business cases. She has and continues to litigate complex real estate and finance disputes. Ms. Duel also represents business’s in a wide variety of business related matters such as breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and shareholder disputes, among other things. Ms. Duel works closely with her clients to develop the most creative and cost effective means to achieve optimal results. This unique perspective of representing individuals and companies with various legal disputes, allows Ms. Duel to appreciate and employer’s strategy in handling employment claims. Her practice areas compliment each other and enables Ms. Duel to effectively strategize and litigate her cases.

Ms. Duel received her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, San Diego, where she also minored in both Law and Society and Middle Eastern Studies. Ms. Duel received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Ms. Duel has served as a civil harassment mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court. She is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. She is also admitted to practice before all the courts of the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Ms. Duel also holds a brokers license.
